Pest West manufactures insect Management and odor management systems which should be part of an Integrated Pest Management Program. These Systems work either by electrocuting the insects (bug Zappers) or attracting them to a glue board strip which holds the insects in place. The electrocuting models should not be used in food preparation areas.
The insects are attracted by UV lamps which are available through Industrial Ecology Co. as are the glue boards.
Pest West also offers a line of Bio-Gels for cleaning of drains. Toilets, holding tanks and grease traps as well as septic systems. There are non toxic oil/bacterial blends which designed for harsh environments such as dumpsters, trash bins, garbage trucks and compactors.
